Whether it’s a weekend brunch with your favorite pals, a spicy addition to the perfect charcuterie night, or a week cap in the very classiest fashion, it takes little convincing to know that there is no bad way to serve a Bloody Mary.
Perhaps, not until you’ve tried this beautiful remix to a near-perfect classic recipe, will you understand exactly what you’ve been missing out on.
Introducing the Dirty Mary Martini!
This recipe came as somewhat of an accident. In the midst of attempting to dabble in different vodka infusions at home, and working to perfect the classic dirty martini, I stumbled upon the most perfect idea and its become one of my very favorite recipes of all time. Not only is it delicious, fresh, and easily palatable, it is also diverse in that it can be tailored to fit any taste preferences.
Like it smooth?
Try a top shelf vodka in the mix
Like it spicy?
Add in a splash of Tabasco sauce, or Tapatio. Better yet (my fav), roughly chop a jalapeño and toss it in a cup of vodka to marinate for a day before using. The options are endless.
Cant handle the heat?
Opt for an original vodka, or choose an infusion with lime, lemon, or cucumber.
Like it fresh?
Add in a few freshly cut leaves of cilantro, or squeeze a few drops of lime into the mix. I promise you can’t go wrong.
Make it a Mock-tail?
Substitute vodka and vermouth for a splash of tonic and some lemon juice.
